Correlated imaging,also known as ghost imaging,is an emerging optical imaging method in recent two decades.Correlated imaging,as a research hotspot in recent years,has aroused extensive attention because of its novel way to achieve images and its characteristics like good anti-jamming ability and high resolution.Nowadays,The research on correlated imaging has already begun to develop towards the practical direction.In the application of correlated imaging,data acquisition and processing are the foundations of imaging.This paper,based on the theory and the mechanism of correlated imaging,studies the subject about data acquisition and processing of correlated imaging.On the basis of this research,some new schemes of correlated imaging are discussed as well.This research aims at providing a useful reference for the research and application of correlated imaging.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Data acquisition of correlated imaging is studied.In this study,data acquisition in correlated imaging are explored,which focus on the overall scheme and the key problems it involved.This research also emphasizes on two kinds of practical data acquisition schemes,namely the scheme based on AD acquisition card and the scheme based on time-of-flight measurements.The experimental results of those two specific schemes are both presented.(2)Data processing of correlated imaging is studied.The first part of this study probes into data pretreatment in correlated imaging,including information extraction,de-synchronization,noise reduction and anti-interference processing.When it comes to anti-interference processing in correlated imaging,a process named piecewise smooth processing is proposed and demonstrated experimentally,which can reduce severe disturbance and thus improve the imaging quality.The rest part of this study explores correlated imaging algorithms and presents a comparison among different correlated imaging algorithms.When exploring correspondence ghost imaging algorithm and compressed sensing ghost imaging algorithm,correspondence computational correlated imaging based on time-of-flight measurement and compressed sensing computational correlated imaging based on time-of-flight measurement are conducted.Those two schemes combine the technology of time-correlated single-photon counting with computational correlated imaging.(3)On the basis of the above research,a new scheme named photon-counting correspondence computational correlated imaging with thresholds estimation is proposed,and it is verified by experiment.This scheme has the advantages of computational correlated imaging,correspondence correlated imaging and photon-counting correlated imaging.Furthermore,it provides good thresholds for correspondence correlated imaging.
