As the development of wireless communication technology,the integration level of communication system becomes higher and higher,which leads to the development of high-performance and miniaturized microwave components.The power divider and filter,which are usually used in the cascade form,are two important passive components in the RF circuits.The filtering power divider is the product of combining filter and power divider,and it can effectively reduce the circuit size for miniaturized design.In this paper,several filtering power dividers on microstrip line,which work at different frequency bands and have different structures,are proposed based on the theories of traditional power divider and filter.Firstly,an S-band power divider with T-type structure is presented.This power divider is composed of parallel-coupled lines and stepped-impedance open-circuited stubs.The circuit parameters of the filtering power divider can be obtained by using the even-and odd-mode analysis.The experimental results show that the filtering power divider has good filtering and power splitting performances.Secondly,a dual-band power divider based on stepped-impedance resonator with loading short-ended branch in middle point is presented.And it works at the 2.4/5GHz frequency bands of WLAN.Finally,on the basis of above dual-band power divider,a WiMax/LTE(Band 42/43)is added by coupling an intermediate short-ended loaded line.In addition,a kind of defected ground structure(DGS)is used to realize the triple-band response.The experimental results show that the dual-band and triple-band power dividers have good performances and also are very compact.
