Facing the increasingly complicated and changeable wartime environment,the independent radar and communication systems in the combat platform are increasingly unable to meet the operational requirements under the new situation.At the same time,the intelligent transportation system often needs the perception and information transmission between vehicles to realize intelligent and safe driving.Therefore,the integration of radar and communication systems has profound implications for the optimization of combat platforms and the development of intelligent transportation.In the design of the radar communication fusion system,the shared signal waveform is closely related to the system performance,which is the key and difficult point in the design of the fusion system.Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)is very suitable for radar communication shared signal design because of its low complexity,high spectrum utilization,large bandwidth and wide bandwidth.This thesis will design and research the radar communication shared signal based on OFDM signal,so that the shared signal will have dual functions of radar and communication.The main work and innovation are as follows:Firstly,the fusion of radar system and communication system is discussed.As two independent systems,radar and communication system have their own functions and characteristics.After analyzing the similarities and differences of the two systems,this thesis starts with the radar equation and communication equation and deduces their inherent unity,which lays a theoretical foundation for the system fusion and Shared signal design in the following part.Then it analyzes and demonstrates from the three aspects of radar fuzzy function,signal peak-to-average power ratio and radar interception factor,and gives the evaluation and design criteria of radar communication shared signal.Secondly,the design and analysis of the OFDM shared signal is performed.In this thesis,the principle of the traditional OFDM system and the modulation and demodulation method are first introduced in order to have a clear and thorough understanding of the OFDM technology.Then,according to the evaluation standard of radar communication Shared signal,the performance of OFDM signal as radar communication Shared signal is analyzed.Finally,the system architecture of radar communication fusion system is given,and the radar performance and communication performance of OFDM Shared signal are simulated and analyzed in MATLAB.Finally,the actual performance of the OFDM shared signal is designed and implemented in the Universal Software Radio Periphera Reconfigurable I/O(USRP RIO)platform.In this thesis,we use GNURadio to develop the flow graph program of USRP RIORIO,and build a hardware platform for verifying OFDM shared signals.The test is performed on the delay line and the outdoor actual scene to verify the actual performance of the designed OFDM shared signal.In this thesis,OFDM Shared signals are studied and analyzed from three aspects of implementation principle,software performance simulation and hardware implementation,respectively,to verify the feasibility of OFDM as a Shared signal of radar communication and provide a reference for radar communication fusion system in waveform selection.
