In order to meet the rapid growth of communication demand,multiantenna communication technology is corresponding progressing.With the continuous increase of channel capacity and the improvement of communication frequency,massive millimeter-wave antenna array will be the hot spot of research and application.This article mainly aims at the massive antenna array system with millimeter-wave.Through redesign of the traditional antenna array,the scale of array could reach a large antenna array level while maintaining the complexity of array's hardware and algorithm at a smaller level,so that the whole antenna array system can approach a good performance.Based on the research background and significance of the massive antenna array,we proposed two new array model: large scale uniform arc array and large scale hybrid rectangular array.We design the beamforming algorithm according every model to realize the complete system.The performances have been simulated,which proves feasibility and effective.Compared with the traditional uniform circular array,Large-scale uniform arc array we proposed can not only keep the accurate and stable omnidirectional shaping ability and the same hardware complexity,but also possess a narrower main-lobe width,higher main-lobe directivity,better side-lobe suppression performance and less digital processing complexity.Our massive hybrid rectangular array can effectively reduce the number of analog components and digital processing complexity.It can keep a good performance in the effective working region and satisfy diverse communication scenarios,which means a very good applicability.There are also various factors analyzed in this paper which would have negative impact on the performance of antenna array system.Effective methods have been designed to compensate these factors,eliminating the negative effects.We can enhance the communication performance of the final shaped antenna array system through these methods.The designs and algorithms proposed in this paper have a wide applicability in the field of communications using massive antenna array.The analysis and elimination of the actual error factors also have the most direct application value for the realistic engineering projects.
