Shipborne High Frequency Hybrid Sky-surface Wave Radar is a new type of radar,which takes advantages of both sky wave radar,surface wave radar and shipborne radar.It is able to detect targets in long distances,cover a wide area,find stealth targets and also has the ability to detect targets in low altitudes.So,researching on this type of radar has a significant impact on national security.Radar target state estimation,which paly an vital role,is an important part of data processing of Shipborne High Frequency Hybrid Skysurface Wave Radar.The performance of the state estimation algorithm determines the filtering accuracy and track tracking effect.This paper studies the target state estimation method under the radar system based on the working characteristics of the high frequency radar.By comparing and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the existing nonlinear filters and improving them,the filter that is most suitable for the system is selected and applied to some existing track initiation algorithms and data association algorithms.Simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the filter in the application.The main content of this topic includes the following parts:Firstly,a tracking model was established based on the high frequency radar,including the target state model and the measurement model.According to the working principle of the radar,the measurement model of the high frequency radar based on the plane coordinate system is established.The mutual conversion formula of the target state vector and the measurement vector under the measurement model is given.And the initial method of the filter is introduced.Secondly,the state estimation method of the non-maneuvering target of the high frequency radar is studied.Analyze the nonlinearity of the high frequency radar measurement equation by using CMKF,1st order EKF,2nd order EKF,UKF,CKF,PF and UPF,and compare the filtering performance of each filter under the high frequency radar.Choose the optimal filter for non-maneuvering target tracking.Then,the state estimation method of the maneuvering target of the high frequency radar is studied.Applying VQEKF,VQUKF,IMMUKF and the methed proposed in this paper,including AQCKF,AQEKF and IMMAQEKF,to track and filter the maneuvering target.Compare and evaluate the filtering performance of each filter under the high frequency radar system.The filters that perform better under both maneuvering and nonmaneuvering targets are selected with the conclusion of the research on non-maneuvering targets.Finally,the selected filter is applied in the logic track initiation algorithm,NNSF,PDA to test the filter's filtering performance.At the same time,the performance of the new algorithm,which is improved according to the logic track initiation algorithm,is verified by simulation experiments.
