With the rapid development of wearable technology and mobile Internet,more and more wearable devices are being applied to daily life,which has spawned a variety of wearable applications.Because these applications require a large amount of computing resources,the wearable device itself has limited hardware resources and cannot cope with existing application requirements.Although the emergence of cloud computing solves the shortcomings of the wearable device itself,as the number of terminal devices accessing the network increases,the data that needs to be transmitted also increases,the load of the network transmission bandwidth increases greatly,and the interaction with the cloud causes Long network latency.How to provide computing resources for wearable applications while ensuring the bandwidth required for applications and timely response to requests becomes a problem that needs to be solved.The development of edge computing provides solutions to the above problems.In this paper,edge computing is used in the wearable scene,and an edge computing platform for wearable applications is designed.Based on the platform design,a battlefield situational awareness application in a multi-person cooperative combat scenario is realized.This paper first analyzes the architecture and implementation of the four open edge computing platforms,summarizes their commonalities,and obtains the general architecture of the edge computing platform.The application scenarios of the platform are analyzed.The scenario analysis results get the function and performance requirements of the platform.According to the hardware and software architecture of the general architecture design platform of the edge computing platform,each functional component is divided to obtain the interaction relationship between the components.On this basis,the overall architecture of the battlefield situational awareness application is designed.Firstly,the principle of data processing under a single mobile device is analyzed,and then the whole group is analyzed to design an application architecture based on the edge computing platform.Based on the designed application architecture,According to different processing data,the whole application is divided into a physical perception module,an environment sensing module,a motion sensing module,a location sensing module,an image sensing module,and a final situational awareness module,and these modules are implemented.The edge computing platform and situation-aware application are deployed to the real environment for function and performance testing,and the edge computing platform and the cloud computing platform are compared in terms of delay and bandwidth,and the edge computing platform is verified in data processing.The advantages.
