In order to meet the requirements of the rapid information development,array antennas have emerged to play an important role in all areas of today's society.The development of array antennas is also the thing of indispensability in the the rapid development of communications,radar,and aerospace,etc.The quasi-periodic arrangement is a self-similar structure with short-range disorder and long-range order.In this paper,the properties of linear array antennas with quasi-periodic arrangement characteristics are analyzed.Based on the in-depth study of the spatial arrangement of array antennas,two quasi-periodic array antennas are proposed,and their model and data analysis are carried out.The main research results of this paper include the following aspects:1)A quasi-periodic array antenna with a Thue-Morse sequence is constructed.The theory of the array antenna is used to calculate and analyze it.We found out that quasi-periodic array antennas have larger apertures,smaller beamwidths,lower sidelobe levels,and lower nulling depths2)Considering the mutual coupling effect between array elements,the calculation and analysis of array antennas with Fibonacci quasi-periodic sequences are carried out by the method of moment to make the simulation data more realistic.Comparing with periodic arrays of the same array length,quasi-periodic array antennas have lower sidelobe levels and smaller beamwidths.In order to link quasi-periodic array antennas with long-range order characteristics,a comparative analysis of quasi-periodic arrays with different number of elements is also carried out.The effect on the array antenna when the two array elements have different values is also discussed.3)The generalized Fibonacci sequence is used to arrange the array antennas.We also verify the correctness of the antenna performance with the array element B and summarize the law of the generalized Fibonacci quasi-periodic array antenna.
