“hunger breeds discontentment”,food is an indispensable part of people's life.Bad eating habits can cause many health problems and chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension which can also be prevented and controlled by good diet.However,people lack judgment on their dietary health and need external support to improve it.Therefore,dietary recommendation system has become an effective tool to help achieve personalized diet.The existing dietary recommendations are mostly used in e-commerce and food communities,and the situational information of the target users is less considered.The recommended diet only focuses on the user's preferences and ignores the user's situational needs.In response to these problems,this thesis develops a context-aware elderly dietary recommendation system that introduces contextual information,dietary preferences,and health knowledge to enable accurate and healthy dietary recommendation services for the elderly.Firstly,this thesis investigates the background and the current research status at home and abroad of this research project,and combines the dietary needs of the elderly to propose a system scheme based on C/S and B/S mixed architecture.The system is mainly divided into three layers,which are interface presentation layer,business logic layer and data service layer.The key intelligent recommendation module of the system is processed in business logic layer.Then,this thesis analyses and studies the elderly diet recommendation algorithm based on context-aware.In order to make the recommendation results more in line with the user's current situation and improve the accuracy of the recommendation,this thesis promotes the traditional "item-user" recommendation to the "context-item-user" recommendation,and uses the hybrid recommendation mode to integrate multi-angle information for the elderly to make dietary recommendations.Hybrid recommendation mode includes user-based collaborative filtering and rule-based recommendation.Finally,the detailed design and implementation of the system are completed.This system is composed of two parts: background server and mobile client.The backstage service mainly completes the diet recommendation function and the backstage management function.The client is oriented to the aged users and completes the interaction with the dietary recommendation system.In order to test the effectiveness of the system,this thesis designs a reasonable test scheme from the functional and nonfunctional point of view to complete the test and analysis of the system.The test results show that the system can run stably and reliably to meet the expected functional and nonfunctional requirements.
