With the development and application of 5G networks, the higher density of small cells causes a significant increase of wired backhaul costs in heterogeneous networks. As a candidate technology for 5G,In-Band Full Duplex(IBFD)communication can simultaneously transmit and receive electromagnetic wave signals in the same frequency band, which can theoretically double the spectrum efficiency. In this way, backhaul forwarding with IBFD becomes an effective and feasible solution in high-density small cells. However, the interference problems caused by IBFD can severely reduce the gain of full-duplex.For this reason, this thesis studies the interference management problem of the small base station's downlink with IBFD capability in heterogeneous networks. The main works are as follows:1.A hybrid duplex base station deployment scheme is designed to tackle the inter-cell interference problem in the IBFD wireless backhaul scenario of multi-layer heterogeneous cellular network.Firstly,a system model of a multi-layer heterogeneous cellular network with a macro base station and multiple small base stations is established, and the interference types of the small base stations in different working modes is analyzed. Then, aiming at the backhaul mode selection problem for small base stations with different interference types,a suboptimal duplex mode selection algorithm based on greedy algorithm is proposed to maximize system capacity. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the designed mode selection algorithm.2.An interference management scheme involving power allocation of small cellular users and optimal backhaul mode selection for small base stations is designed to tackle the cross-layer interference problem between backhaul link and access link in the two-layer heterogeneous cellular network.Firstly,a system capacity function of the small base station in different backhaul modes is established in terms of the location of small cell user and the channel gain. Then, the solution of the objective function is considered from two aspects. One is the interference coordination under the power control based on the non-cooperative Stackelberg game.Another is the wireless backhaul mode selection based on the utility of small base station with different duplex modes. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the designed power control and mode selection scheme.
