With the popularity of cars,as well as the rapid development of intelligent information technology,Intelligent In-vehicle infotainment system(The In-Vehicle Infotainment,IVI for short)has become the important factors influencing the decision for buying a car and an important part influencing the the carmaker development costs.Car consumers expect IVI system to keep up with the pace of the rapid advance consumer electronics.To develop a good IVI system software,it is very important to have a glaring HMI picture.Because of great quantities of HMI screen development and the complexity of the developmenttechnology,it is easy to lead to IVI software development of the high cost,long development cycle,product development lagging behind the market.How to develop an IVI system which has a dazzling screen,excellent performance HMI module has become an important topic for major IVI software developers.In this paper,according to the characteristics of automotive infotainment systems,the demand analysis has been carried out,the design and implementation of middleware based on Tizen IVI operating system with linux kernel and hardware platform based on i.MX6 D chip are achieved.It providesa stable software and hardware running platform for HTML5 application.Meanwhile,in order to solve the problem of the softwaredevelopment of HMI,the cross-platform technology HTML5 is used to develop the software for HMI.The design and development technology that combine automotive software and harderware with HMTL5 applicationprovides a complete solution for the development of automotive infotainment systems.The main research work of this paper is as follows:1.Design hardware platform for automotive infotainment systems based on Freescale's chip i.MX6 D.The hardware IC selection andcircuit design make full consideration of the design standards of the front market vehicle system,and the hardware systemadopts CPU(i.MX6D)+ MCU(78K0R)architecture,equipping withpower control,CAN bus communication,audio processing DSP,audio and video coding and decoding,etc.2.Customized design and implementationfor operating system Tizen IVI depending on the software platform for car infotainment systems and functional requirements.Mainly design and implement the multi windows control module based on the Wayland technology,voice control module,automotive bus data transceiver module,the online software upgrade module,physical buttons receive module,fast reverse image display module,map navigation module and other core software middleware.3.Research on the characteristics of HTML5 technology and extend the Web Engine(Crosswalk).Design the software development framework of Web application based on Java Script MVC Backboneand develop Web applicationby using HTML5 technology.In this paper,we will combine hardware and software systems to develop the automotive infotainment systems which meet the standards of the front market vehicle system.
