Affected by the movement process of nodes, the topologies of cooperative wireless networks are highly-dynamic,so the connection status between the source and destination nodes is difficult to estimate. What's more, the data transmission performance of cooperative wireless networks is affected by several factors. In order to ensure efficient data forwarding in cooperative wireless networks, the relay nodes must be carefully chosen. In particular, the movement process of nodes in cooperative wireless networks has a strong regularity, and nodes in cooperative wireless networks presents the "small world and big world" feature which is originated from social network.Besides, the connection state between nodes emerges an obvious power-law distribution characteristics. In order to avoid the transient characteristics caused by using the physical layer parameters, such as the signal to noise ratio and improve the efficiency and reliability of data forwarding, some social relationship aware relay selection methods have been proposed.Although such methods can choose the stable relay nodes to improve the network performance,it is difficult to evaluate the influence of the social relationship between nodes on the data forwarding and network performance lacking of sufficient quantitative analysis, and then the data transmission delay can still not be obtained in the cooperative wireless networks with obvious social characteristics. Therefore, quantitative analysis of the influence of social relationship between nodes on the data forwarding and network performance through modeling is of great significance for accurately measuring the performance and guiding the performance optimization of cooperative wireless networks.Firstly, the concept, theoretical basis, and architecture of cooperative wireless networks are introduced,as well as the typical application scenarios and key technologies. Then the existing data forwarding mechanism and the mobility model of nodes are described.Furthermore, the data transmission performance of the cooperative wireless networks are analyzed.Secondly, the influence of social characteristics on the transmission delay of single-copy data in cooperative wireless networks is analyzed.According to the data transmission state, the node state transition model based on social characteristics is firstly established.Due to the behaviors and states of nodes in different periods, thenode transition process among the four states and the stability of this model is analyzed.By analyzing and quantifying the influence of social relationship on the distribution characteristics, the expected encounter interval and encounter duration between nodes are obtained. Moreover, the expected hop counts of data forwarding can be calculated by the data forwarding process analysis model. Finally, based on the above analysis results, data transmission delay can be acquired.Simulation results show that the proposed theoretical analysis framework can accurately reflect the interplay between node social behaviors and network performance.Next, the transmission performance of multimedia services are analyzed. The influence factors of node emotion are excavated in specific time granularity. Then the dynamic emotion game model is established to analyze the node emotion and deduce the steady-state emotion quantization value.Combined with the statistical characteristics of multimedia services, the transmission characteristics of multimedia services are analyzed, and then the influence of the steady-state emotion quantization value and its variation on network performance and service quality from different measures are derived. The numerical results show that the theoretical analysis framework can accurately reflect the dynamic emotion of nodes and the transmission characteristics of multimedia services. Finally, the whole paper is summarized, and future research is proposed.
