Using power line channel to realize image transmission can be widely used in distribution network monitoring and other fields.Due to the bandwidth and power line channel noise affects the efficient transmission of image data,aiming at the above problems,the paper focuses on the low bit rate image compression algorithm for transmission power line channel.The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly,analysis of the characteristics of the power line channel based on the common low bit rate image compression algorithm,and discusses its characteristics,determine the improvement based on wavelet transform image compression algorithm on the.The image compression algorithm based on wavelet transform can make the image reach a low rate and resist the interference in the transmission process.Secondly,in order to minimize the image rate and improve the anti-jamming ability of the image while ensuring the normal transmission and reconstruction quality of the image,the multi-level tree set splitting algorithm based on wavelet transform is studied in depth.The feature of this algorithm is that even if the transmission of the image is interrupted due to interference,the receiver can recover the image based on the received information.In order to make the image have lower speed and better compression quality,and have the advantage of wavelet compression,we usually combine wavelet coding with other image compression algorithms.Thirdly,a low-rate image compression algorithm based on multi-level tree set splitting combined with principal component analysis is proposed.Principal Component Analysis is a statistical method based on K-L transform.It can extract the principal components of data efficiently,eliminate the correlation of signals in the transform domain,and complete data compression and noise reduction at the same time.Firstly,using principal component analysis for feature extraction of images;then the processed image using SPIHT encoding,and then on the formation of the compressed data stream is decoded by image compression.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve better image restoration quality and effectively remove image noise interference in the low rate range compared with the single multi-level tree set splitting algorithm.With the same reconstructed image quality,the number of transmitted frames per second of the proposed algorithm is significantly higher than that of the multilevel tree set splitting algorithm in the power line channel,which can be twice as high as that of the multilevel tree set splitting algorithm at low rate,which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
