With the rapid development of the social economy,urban expansion,and high social crime rates,the market prospects for video surveillance equipment continue to be optimistic.However,the video surveillance equipment in the market is generally complicated in wiring and difficult to install,and the combination of the camera and the video recorder makes it lack of intelligent factors and has a limited effect.In this context,this paper designs and implements an intelligent video surveillance system based on ARM and face recognition.For the overall design and implementation of the system,it mainly includes two parts: algorithm design and system hardware and software design.In the algorithm design part,moving target detection,face detection,the principles of face image preprocessing and face recognition algorithm are expounded and studied respectively,and the simulation experiment and result analysis are carried out.It mainly includes: obtaining the original image to be detected by Surendra moving target detection algorithm;adopting Adaboost face detection algorithm,performing face detection on the detected image by cascaded classifier;preprocessing the face image by Gabor filtering,the algorithm It can effectively reduce the false positive rate;Finally,the face image is recognized by PCA and singular value decomposition algorithm.In the aspect of algorithm selection,the face detection rate of Adaboost and LBP algorithm,the face recognition rate of PCA and template matching algorithms are compared.The simulation results show that the detection rate and recognition rate of the selected algorithm can meet the system requirements.The system hardware and software design part,from the function and requirements,the system hardware and software are designed in detail.The hardware design includes: the overall hardware structure design of the system.The system uses ARM i.MX6 q as the central processing unit,the image acquisition unit uses OV5640 camera,and the communication alarm module based on GSM network.In software design,the software design and description of the overall design process and software architecture are firstly carried out,and the functions are divided according to modules,including image acquisition module,face detection,face recognition module,etc.,and each module is designed in detail and achieve.Finally,the system is debugged and analyzed.The test results show that the system has achieved satisfactory results in response speed and recognition accuracy,and has certain practical value.
