With the rapid development of computer vision and image information processing technology,the computer directly observes the stone inscription image,and uses the image processing technology such as edge detection to obtain the shape information of the stone inscription,thus achieving accurate recognition of the stone tablet text,and gradually becomes an important application research direction.Due to the long-term influence of the stone monument on the external environment,the traditional edge detection algorithm does not achieve the desired effect.Therefore,it is especially important to find an algorithm that can accurately detect the edge of a stone inscription image.This paper takes the stone inscription image as the object,first uses the classical edge detection algorithm to carry on the edge detection and the contrast analysis to the stone inscription image,then aims at the shortcoming of the classical edge detection algorithm.Two methods to detect the edge information of stone inscription image are presented.In the paper,the edge detection algorithm of the stone inscription image is used in the classic and fuzzy control system.In order to solve the problem of edge information loss,edge discontinuity,breakpoint and noise,the basic theory of fuzzy control is introduced in detail.Two optimization schemes are used:one is the optimized static fuzzy control method,the image is denoised using an adaptive median filter,and then three linear filters are used for gradient analysis,and adaptive parameters are set to improve the adaptability of the algorithm.Use reasonable fuzzy rules and membership functions.The second scheme is to calculate the membership function parameters according to the stone inscription image information,get rid of the limit of the fixed parameters,and establish a dynamic fuzzy control system based on reasonable fuzzy rules and membership functions to detect the edges of the image.The simulation and evaluation results show that the two schemes can preserve the edge information of stone inscription and extract more accurate edge of stone inscription image,both from visual effect and evaluation index.It provides a new way for the accurate recognition of stone inscription.
