Subcarrier index modulation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(SIM-OFDM)technology,as a joint modulation technique of index modulation(IM)and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM),utilizes the effective of subcarriers to modulate the bit information and transmits additional information by activating different combinations of subcarriers.Compared with the OFDM communication system,the SIM-OFDM communication system can alleviate the problems of peak-to-average ratio(PAPR)and the frequency offset sensitivity.Therefore,the problem of inter carrier interference(ICI)and low power of the radio frequency amplifier in OFDM communication system can be solved to some extent.So SIM-OFDM communication technology has become one of the research hotspots in the field of broadband wireless communication.However,SIM-OFDM communication technology also has a series of technical problems to be further solved,such as high complexity,poor information transmission reliability and anti-decipherability.The transmission reliability and anti-deciphering performance of SIM-OFDM technology are taken as the research goal.SIM-OFDM technology is taken as the research basis,and the following three aspects of research work are emphasized.Firstly,establish the mathematical model of SIM-OFDM system,derive the PAPR and spectrum efficiency of it.The performance simulation analysis platform of SIM-OFDM communication system based on Matlab is compiled,and the various technical performances of the system are simulated and analyzed,including PAPR,spectral efficiency and bit error rate.Secondly,aiming at improving the reliable transmission capability of SIM-ODFM system and based on the grouped subcarrier index modulation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(GSIM-OFDM)technology,the adjacent subcarrier index modulation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(ASIM-OFDM)technology and the interleaved subcarrier index modulation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(ISIM-OFDM)technology are studied.Deduce the BER formula based on the mathematical model of ASIM-OFDM system on the Gaussian white noise channel.Then establish the software simulation models of these systems,to compare and analyze the performance of ASIM-OFDM,ISIM-OFDM and OFDM under Gaussian white noise channels and multipath channels(Rayleigh fading channels).Different grouping methods have different effects on the performance of GSIM-OFDM under different channels.Finally,aiming at improving the anti-deciphering performance of SIM-OFDM system,based on GSIM-OFDM,propose two joint grouped subcarrier index modulation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(JGSIM-OFDM)techniques,which are the joint grouped subcarrier index modulation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing based on PN(JGSIM-OFDM/PN)technology and the joint grouped subcarrier index modulation orthogonal frequency division multiplexing based on PN and information(JGSIM-OFDM/PN-IN)technology.Establish mathematical models of these two systems,and preliminary analyze the performance of their spectral efficiency and anti-decipherility.The simulation analysis model of the two systems is established.The likelihood and the Hamming distance of the index bits between the receiver and the non-destination receiver,and the system BER under different interference conditions are simulated and analyzed.Furthermore,simulate and verify the performance of anti-decipher and BER of the two communication technologies,which can improve anti-deciphering performance without reducing anti-interference performance.
