With the development of digitalization of the Internet,the traffic which is caused by documents,pictures,videos and other contents has been a large proportion of Internet traffic nowadays.So,the key feature of the Internet has changed from communication to content distribution.During content distributing,users are more concerned about the efficiency and security than the contents'locations.However,the Internet still uses TCP/IP network architecture and maintains packets and data transmission mode based on end-to-end connection,which means each content distribution needs to locate the content and establish the end-to-end connection in advance.To a certain extent,the process will increase the complexity of content distribution.As a new network architecture,Named Data Networking(NDN)aims to build a more efficient and convenient content distribution network.Since the data packet of NDN is uniquely identified according to the name prefix of content,the focus of data transmission in the NDN network architecture is the content rather than the location where the content is located.At the same time,the data transmission of NDN has the characteristics of multi-source and multi-path,which can not only improve the requesters',ability to acquire contents,but also reduce the delay of data transmission.In addition,the in-network caching provides the ability for nearby caching and retrieval of contents,which can greatly reduce transmission delay and redundant traffic.It can be said that the design of NDN network architecture accords with the requirements of content distribution network,and researches on NDN network architecture are of great significance for future development and progress of the Internet.Net.work congestion is the key point of network architecture design and the basis of data transmission.In essence,network congestion can be considered as a problem about sharing and allocation of network resources.During data transmission,all requesters share network resources,including bandwidth,CPU and cache capacity.Network congestion occurs when the demand for network resources exceeds network resource capacity.Therefore,to solve the problem of network congestion is essentially to realize the match between demand and capacity of network resources.Based on the research of network cache mechanism and network congestion control mechanism,this paper compares and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the current NDN congestion control mechanism,and proposes a cache-based NDN congestion control mechanism.The mechanism realizes the partition of congestion states and detection of congestion,designs and implements the congestion avoidance algorithm combined with NDN in-network caching.Then,based on ndnSIM simulation platform,this paper achieves the congestion control mechanism design scheme,and completes simulation verification work.Through the comparison with NDN congestion control mechanism based on content requester,this paper verifies the cache-based NDN congestion control mechanism in correctness.
