In the carrier network,the end-to-end data packet transmission generally follows a certain order relationship,then it can meet the specific needs of users after multiple service function nodes(such as firewall,parental control,load balancing,etc.),called service chain technology.However,the current carrier network edge contains a variety of dedicated devices that have been formed for decades,and there is almost no unified architecture,which makes the construction and maintenance of the service chain extremely difficult,which also becomes an important source of the operator's capital expenditure and operating cost.With the development of SDN and NFV technology,it has brought hope to the service chain technology to break through the current predicament.In 2015,AT&T launched the CORD proj ect,an architecture restructures traditional central offices as data center by combining the features of SDN,NFV and cloud services.When studying the service chain technology under the CORD platform,the following problems were observed:1)the architecture of the CORD platform is extremely complicated,which makes the platform construction very difficult,and the platform lacks a fault recovery mechanism.When the platform crashes,it cannot be recovered.2)The platform service network is isolated based on the network address segment,the service provider cannot use the network address arbitrarily,and may cause address leakage problems.3)The service chain construction process is discrete,cumbersome and the service chain traffic state lacks a visual page,4)currently the research on service chain optimization deployment algorithm is still in its infancy,and related research is still very lacking.To solve the problems above,the main work in this paper are as follows:To begin with,this article combines the experience of building and using the CORD platform,and gives suggestions and steps for the establishment of the CORD platform,including fault recovery measures.Then,analyze the communication mechanism between services under the CORD platform,and design the address isolation module so that the service provider can use any address segment without worrying about traffic leakage.Finally,the traffic monitoring module is designed.This module combines the existing service chain construction interface of CORD platform,integrates the service chain creation process into a unified front-end page,and visualizes the service chain traffic status,making the service chain construction more convenient and monitoring more intuitive.In addition,there should be little research on the optimization of service chain deployment algorithms.This paper proposes a service chain optimization deployment algorithm to reduce the resource consumption in service chain deployment,so as to reduce the capital expenditure and operating cost of operators.We optimize the service chain deployment as an optimization problem,and minimize the required resource allocation under the constraint of delay.By combining the greedy algorithm and the taboo search algorithm,we can effectively explore the solution space of service chain placement and connection.
