With the progress of society and the continuous development of science and technology,wireless power transmission(WPT)has been widely concerned by researchers at home and abroad.Electromagnetic induction,magnetic resonance and radio wave are the three main ways of wireless power transmission.Wireless power transmission technology using radio wave based on array antenna is an energy supplement method based on electromagnetic radiation and using radio frequency,which can significantly improve the distance of wireless energy transmission.However,the energy conversion efficiency of this method is low.Therefore,improving the energy conversion efficiency of the transmitter in wireless power transmission based on array antenna is very important for the practical application of this technology.The main contributions of this paper are as follows:(1)The array factor and power pattern of planar array antenna are analyzed,and the power pattern optimization of energy beam forming based on array antenna is constructed.The directivity of antenna can be described by the pattern,and the sidelobe level is an important characteristic parameter to measure the pattern.Therefore,in this paper,the maximum sidelobe level of the power pattern of planar array antenna is reduced by optimizing the excitation current on each element,so as to improve its directivity and energy conversion efficiency.(2)An improved Chicken Swarm Optimization(ICSO)algorithm is proposed to solve the construction optimization problem.Aiming at the problem that the solution updating method in traditional CSO algorithm is too simple and easy to fall into the local optimum in the updating process,which leads to the unsatisfactory optimization effect,the global search,local search and removal of repeated solutions in the solution set are introduced to improvethe optimization ability of the algorithm.ICSO algorithm is compared with other classical swarm intelligence optimization algorithms on different test functions in CEC2014 test set to verify the effectiveness of the proposed ICSO algorithm.(3)A series of simulations verify the effectiveness of the proposed ICSO algorithm in solving the power pattern of energy beam forming.Firstly,aiming at this optimization problem,the relevant parameters of ICSO are optimized to achieve the best optimization effect.Then,ICSO and some classical swarm optimization algorithms are used to optimize the power patterns of planar array antennas of different scales.Through the analysis of the experimental results,compared with some classical swarm optimization algorithms,ICSO has better optimization effect and it can reduce the maximum sidelobe level to a greater extent.In addition,electromagnetic simulation experiments are carried out to compare the power patterns obtained by different algorithms.The experimental results show that ICSO still has the best optimization capability,so it can be used to optimize the power pattern of the array antenna in real environment.
