In the field of single image defogging,image restoration based on foggy day degradation model has always been a hot research topic.By studying the physical mechanism of image formation in foggy days,this method not only achieves a good effect of fog removal,but also can well retain the detailed information of the image.Among the many algorithms for image defogging based on the degradation model,dark channel prior algorithm is one of the most effective methods,which is highly sought after by many researchers and becomes a hot research algorithm.For a single initial fogging image,this paper deeply studied the dark channel prior image defogging algorithm.In the HSI color space,keeping the hue component H unchanged,and introducing the orthogonal complete function system of v-system--L2[0,1]space,three improved defogging algorithms based on dark channel prior and v-system were proposed.The main work is as follows:1.The saturation component S is transformed by V,the high frequency is set to 0,and the low frequency is reconstructed to reduce the texture,noise and other information of the saturation component.The minimum filtering of the brightness component I was performed to obtain the transmittance,which was optimized by guiding filtering,while the atmospheric light value was directly calculated by the quadtree algorithm of the brightness component I,thus obtaining the RGB color image after defogging.2.The saturation component S is processed by median filtering to reduce the influence of impurity information such as texture and noise.Firstly,the minimum filter is performed for the brightness component I,and then the transmission is obtained by using the low-frequency reconstruction of the V transform,and then the guided filtering is optimized.The quadtree algorithm directly calculates the atmospheric light value for the brightness component.Therefore,realizing the image defogging.3.For a single foggy image containing a large area of sky,the saturation component S is transformed by V,and the new saturation component is reconstructed only with low frequency.In the process of defogging the luminance component I of the dark primaries,the initial transmittance was obtained by using the low-frequency reconstruction of the V transform.At the same time,the sky region and the non-sky region were separated by the V transform,the sky region transmittance was adjusted,and the guidance filter was used for optimization,so as to achieve the effect of defogging.
