At present,surface splicing is widely used in industrial manufacturing,automotive,aerospace,shipbuilding and other high-end manufacturing and transition surface design has always been one of the hotspots and difficulties in the CAD field.Making surface splicing has become an important topic and direction in the current computer research field,so it is very important to further research and explore the surface splicing.Currently,there are two main methods for surface stitching: geometric continuity and parameter continuity.The disadvantage of the surface that cannot be modified locally,and the B-spline surface does not weaken the surface control under multiple control points,thus reducing the amount of control.Make the B-spline surface an important method in the surface stitching project.Firstly,the application in engineering and development of surface joining were introduced and several methods of surface joining were expounded in the paper.The theoretical basis of surface joining is analyzed in detail.Secondly,the principle of B-spline curve surface generation is expounded,and the B-spline curve surface is simply processed and drawn into B-spline curve and surface.By comparing with the Bezier curve,the locality,convexity and geometric continuity of the B-spline curve can be found.Then,based on the B-spline surface generation,the splicing of the surface is achieved by designing the splicing method of geometric continuity and parameter continuity.First,the continuous splicing of the B-spline surface G1 is accomplished by simple geometric continuity.Then,three algorithms of four-order partial differential equations for solving PDE are designed,and the continuous splicing of B-spline surface C1 is completed.The problem of fine-tuning the surface shape is better solved,which is beneficial to the control of the shape of the curved surface,and can be applied in the case of closed or non-closed curved surfaces,and has wide application value.It can better meet the reality.Finally,the principle and method of surface smoothing are analyzed and analyzed,and the surface smoothing is summary explained and studied.
