Research And Implementation Of Network Printer Application Layer Protocol Security Detection Technology

With the continuous development of the Internet of Things,more and more devices are being connected to the network.Network printers are one of the most important devices in the daily work of ordinary Internet users.The ports of a large number of network printers are exposed in the public network.Network printers carry a lot of sensitive information and can easily become a springboard for network attackers to invade the network.Network printers are currently facing serious security threats.The protocol is the most direct way for external users to access network printers.The security of network printer protocols is especially important.Based on the above analysis,this paper studies the network printer application layer protocol security detection technology around the protocol characteristics of network printers.The main work of this paper is as follows:1)Research on network printer application layer protocol.This paper first studies the protocol structure of network printers.Network printers open a variety of network protocols,including network printing protocols,network transmission protocols,network management protocols,and so on.This paper analyzes the structural characteristics of network printer-specific printing protocols(including raw9100 port printing protocol,PJL command,PostScript,PCL,etc.)and some application-level common protocols(such as HTTP,FTP,etc.),and also studies the possible security issues with these protocols used in network printers.2)Research on network printer application layer protocol security detection scheme.Including the characteristics of network printer vulnerability,a security vulnerability library for network printer application layer protocol is established.Based on the establishment of the application layer protocol vulnerability library,it is detected whether there are known vulnerabilities in the protocol of the network printer,using the corresponding attack vector constructed according to the characteristics of different protocols.The attack samples extracted from the vulnerability database are extended and mutated by the designed genetic algorithm,and encapsulated according to different protocol structures to perform security detection on unknown vulnerabilities that may exist in various protocols used by network printers.3)Design and implementation of network printer application layer protocol security detection system.According to the actual needs,based on the network printer application layer protocol security detection scheme proposed in this paper,a network printer application layer protocol security detection system is designed and implemented.
