With the maturity and popularity of the third-generation and fourth-generation mobile communication network technologies,the fifth-generation mobile communication technology has also come into view.Since the third generation of LTE technology has been proposed,due to the scarcity of spectrum resources and the need for terminal antennas to meet not only miniaturization,broadband,and multi-frequency,but also high channel capacity.MIMO technology can multiply the channel capacity of the system without increasing the bandwidth of the antenna.Therefore,MIMO technology is widely used in mobile terminals.According to the above requirements,it is necessary to design a multi-antenna system with multiple frequency bands.Five terminal MIMO antenna designs are presented in this paper.First,we discussed the principle of MIMO system and the method of increasing isolation.A two-element multi-band MIMO antenna is proposed,which is designed by coupling feed and adding external inductance.The antenna can cover two frequency ranges of 880?960MHz and 1710-2690MHz.The antenna has characteristics of high efficiency,broadband,and miniaturization,and the correlation coefficient between the antenna units is less than 0.1.Second,three eight element antenna structures are proposed.There are two different antenna types.Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the two antenna types,the efficiency and gain of the planar antenna are much worse than those of the 3D-IFA antenna.The efficiency of the antenna is more than 80%,and the gain can reach 2dBi.The physical test of the single-frequency 3D-IFA antenna is carried out.The results show that the physical object has good directionality,high efficiency and high gain.Third,an ultra-wideband MIMO antenna structure is proposed,covering a frequency range of 3.2 to 6.3 GHz with a gain of up to 4.87 dBi.In the end,through the above summary,a 10-element MIMO antenna system is proposed,which covers two frequency ranges of 1710?2690MHz and 3300?3600MHz,The gain of the two unit parts is up to 8dBi.
