As the most popular concept in the field of information technology,cloud computing is widely used in all walks of life of the national economy,which is bringing a new round of technological revolution for these industries.Cloud computing platform is the cloud computing technology in recent years with the rapid development of a new generation of computing services model.The current representative of the cloud platform includes Google Cloud,IBM "Blue Cloud",Ali cloud and Tencent cloud.This cloud platform can provide users with a variety of high-performance computing resources by leasing,thus greatly reducing the user's investment in hardware costs.Virtualization is an important service application that cloud computing platform can provide.Its core scientific problem is virtual machine deployment optimization problem,which is how to efficiently distribute the existing hardware resources of the cloud platform to meet the virtual machine service demand of all usersBased on this,this paper adopts the theory of systems engineering and applies the theories and methods of operations research,computer science and applied mathematics to carry out specific research work on virtual machine deployment optimization for a small academic application cloud platform,A More Efficient Virtual Machine Deployment Optimization Method.The main research work of this paper includes the following three aspects:1)Take a small academic application cloud platform as a practical case,through the use of VMware vSphere software to learn and understand the specific process of virtual machine deployment;2)Considering the uncertainty of users' demands,adopting two kinds of resource supply schemes,namely,advance reservation and immediate application,further considering the isomorphism and heterogeneous characteristics of the cloud platform,aim at minimizing the total cost of the system with a series of mathematical models for machine deployment optimization problems;3)The simulation results are analyzed by using Lingo optimization software to solve the mathematical model by randomly generated simulation examples.Through the above research,we can find that the virtual machine deployment optimization model and method proposed in this paper can satisfy the indefinite personalized service demand.
