Bromine is the first element that found and separated in seawater.The reserves of bromine in seawater are considerable,and 99 percent of the bromine of the surface are existing in the seawater.It has been widely used in flame retardants,oil extraction,fungicides,pesticides,photographic materials and medicine,etc.Accordingly,it is the only way for China to make full use of abundant bromine resources to promote the efficient and low energy consumption of new sea water extraction and high purity bromine preparation technology.By investigating the methods adopted by China's coastal large bromine manufacturers,the overall level of automation production is low,there are high raw material consumption,and product quality is unstable.It can not guarantee the safety of production and other issues.Through field investigation and analysis found that blowing with chlorine,blowing acid and distillation with chlorine did not really achieve automatic control,but in part the realization of the operator on the computer manually "remote control".Therefore,it is urgent to choose the appropriate instruments to upgrades the automatic equipment,both for enterprise efficiency,but also for the bromine process security,to achieve resource-saving and environment-friendly development.According to the requirements of seawater bromine process control and geographical characteristics,the DCS is used to build the monitoring system for the bromine process.The main station is composed of a S7-300 PLC and consists of multiple S7-200PLC subcontracting stations.And by using automated instruments to achieve the blowing with chlorine,blowing acid,distillation with chlorine,and other key variables of automatic control.According to the process requirements,blowing acid with integral separation PID control,with the amount of acid according to the PH value of the chemical solution to make the appropriate adjustments;Blowing with chlorine using fuzzy control method,with chlorine according to ORP automatically make the appropriate adjustments;Distillation with chlorine using cascade ratio control,by maintaining the bromine content of the control of chlorine with the amount of bromine distillation of the use of components of the image analysis technology.The implementation of the system will be significantly improved the yield and quality of bromine,not only take into account the level of scheduling and supervision,but also protect the production process of people and equipment security work,so that the level of management of bromine production control significantly improved.
