ISAR is a powerful tool to surveil the air and space targets under all-weather and day-and-night condition.With its high resolution imaging feature,it has a wide range of applications in military and civil fields such as target monitoring,target recognition,air control,space exploration and so on.ISAR echo simulation technology plays an important role in promoting the progress of ISAR research.However,there is a problem of poor effectiveness in echo simulation,how to improve the efficiency of ISAR echo simulation is one of the keys to the research of ISAR theory.Besides,the ISAR imaging process is a high density processing task with large amount of data.How to realize the high effecitiveness of imaging is the key technology to speed up the research of ISAR.The optimization methods of the ISAR echo simulation,the traditional ISAR imaging algorithm and super-resolution imaging algorithm are proposed in this thesis.Colleagues,taking full advantage of the operational performance of GPU,the time consuming of echo simulation and imaging have been greatly reduced by reasonable parallel design.The main contents of this thesis are as follows:1.From the aspects of GPU development platform,software and hardware architecture,storage mode and so on,this thesis has analyzed the parallel computing advantage of GPU and paved the way for the subsequent development of GPU.2.The space geometric model of ISAR is set up,the principle of echo generation and imaging is analyzed,which lays the foundation for the algorithm theory of this thesis.The study of ISAR imaging algorithms,including traditional Range-Doppler imaging algorithm,sparse signal imaging algorithm,is deeply made.In order to solve the contradiction between azimuth high resolution imaging and azimuth accumulation time,a sparse imaging algorithm based on compressive sensing theory is proposed,which realizes the super-resolution imaging of sparse signals.3.In view of the problem of low efficiency in ISAR echo simulation and ISAR super-resolution imaging algorithm,a parallel design and optimization scheme based on traditional GPU and embedded GPU is proposed,which realizes the GPU parallel processing of the algorithm.The echo simulation is carried out based on the ISAR reference map of the measured data.And imaging processing is performed based on the simulated data.The results of experiments verify the validity of the parallel design of echo simulation and imaging algorithm based on GPU.
