The utilization of the large undeveloped spectrum in millimeter wave is the fundamental means to realize high-rate communication.However,the characteristics of millimeter wave,such as high frequency,short wave length and large bandwidth,inevitably bring some disadvantages,making the signal susceptible to propagation and penetration loss and easily blocked by obstacles.So that the system reliability and communication quality are faced with great challenges.In this paper,the relay technology is used to solve the interrupt problem in mmWave communication system.The alternative path provided by relay is an effective method to counter occlusion and improve communication robustness,while the reflector as virtual relay has the advantages of convenient layout and simple system design.In this study,we propose to deploy mirrors in typical indoor environment as the virtual relay to improve the quality and robustness of mm Wave links.Firstly,by investigating the link outage probability through simulations in a variety of mirror layouts,we draw three criteria for the deployment of mirrors,i.e.shortest path,multi-mirror and on walls.Furthermore,a method for indoor mirror deployment is proposed based on shortest path first and simulation results show that the proposed scheme is remarkably effective.Secondly,considering the real-time characteristics of the channel,we propose a scheme that the UAV carries a mirror to provide dynamic virtual relay.Based on different targets,we study two optimal location optimization algorithms for the UAV,and then propose a signaling interaction scheme suitable for the virtual relay communication system.Finally,we study the effect of virtual mirror relay on multi-user interference in indoor scenes.We analyze the system capacity under the three conditions of senarios with partial occlusion,total occlusion and total unocclusion when different numbers of users communicate at the same time.Simulation results show that specular virtual relay can effectively suppress interference and improve system capacity through specular reflection scattered links.
