In the context of the explosive growth of Internet applications such as cloud computing and data centers,IT services are increasingly dependent on high-speed,reliable,and scalable communication networks.In the future era of big data,optical network technology has become one of the core information technologies that are unanimously recognized.However,the traditional network architecture is rigid,the quality of service is difficult to guarantee,and the technical innovation is difficult.The rapid development of Software Defined Network(SDN)technology has laid a theoretical foundation for the innovation of network architecture.The core idea is that the control plane of the network is separated from the forwarding plane,and the network equipment has an open programmable interface and network concentration,and can be apply to different types of networks.In the traditional network control,the IP network and the optical network are respectively delivered to different controllers for management,so that the service transmission under the structure is greatly restricted,and there is no overall concept for the network condition.And as the network scale continues to expand,the interoperability of multiple controllers to complete the interconnection and interoperability of multi-domain networks has also become a research focus.Among the many open source controllers,the ONOS control platform is characterized by high availability,high scalability and high performance,which is suitable for secondary development.Therefore,this thesis studies the technology of IP and optical multi-domain federator based on ONOS platform,mainly on IP network and optical network architecture fusion technology,and multi-controller interconnection technology as the research object.The main research contents include the following three aspects:(1)In-depth research has been conducted on software-defined network related technologies,ONOS controller development technologies(including ONOS architecture,RESTCONF protocol,YANG model,etc.),multi-domain architecture implementation schemes,and IP optical network fusion technologies.(2)Based on the mapping relationship between IP network and optical network resources,an IP+optical two-tier network model is designed.Intent intention subsystem of ONOS platform is used to realize the intent building function between IP layer nodes through optical layer,deploy multiple ONOS controllers to form clusters,and manage the global network through different distributed consistency protocols from east to west.The function solves the problem of intent reconstruction when the optical network fails.(3)The multi-domain federator control platform is designed according to the vertical hierarchical controller architecture,solving the interconnection problem with multi-vendor controllers and the Provider,Driver and Manager are developed according to the ONOS system architecture.Through the research and extension of the northbound interface layer and the southbound adaptation layer,the federator platform and the single domain controller can communicate based on the RESTCONF protocol through the standard T-API interface,and realize multi-domain network topology resource management.And the function issued by the path set up command.Finally,the feasibility of the platform is verified by experimental results and interactive information.
