Optical Wireless Communication(OWC)is a new type of communication technology that combines wireless communication technology and optical communication technology and the ultraviolet(UV)communication is a branch of it.Because of its flexible networking,good confidentiality,and non-line-of-sight transmission other advantages,UV communication has great application potential in military communications,environmental testing and other fields.However,since the ultraviolet light communication distance is severely limited,the use of the ultraviolet light wireless sensor network can solve this problem,and the wireless sensor network can also be applied to many special communication scenarios,further promoting the development of UV communication.However,in practical applications,in order to reduce the energy consumption of the communication node and prolong the network life as much as possible,we urgently need to design a communication structure with high spatial freedom and high system flexibility to adapt to the ultraviolet wireless sensor communication system.Considering the broadcast characteristics of the sensor network,the information transmitted within the system is at risk of being intercepted.Therefore,how to reduce the probability of information being stolen is also a problem to be considered.Based on the above considerations,this paper proposes a high-degree-of-freedom UV communication system structure for UV wireless sensor networks,using the level of polarization code and MIMO(multiple-input multiple-output)system.Here is the main content of this article:1.Experiments show that the use of ultraviolet light communication system has a high degree of freedom in space,and verify the strong communication area.And the factor restricts the communication performance of the UV communication system is the distance between the receivers and transmitters.2.The joint scheme of polar code and MIMO system is proposed.The experiments and simulation results prove that the receive diversity improves the communication performance of the system.3.For the risk of eavesdropping caused by broadcast channels,we use the concept of security gaps in physical layer security to analyze the security performance of polar code combined MIMO systems.The simulation results show that the communication system coded by polar codes can reduce the risk of eavesdropping.
