The fault information of equipment is often implied in the abrupt change point of the signal,however,auditory system is equipped with good function in signal identification,analysis and processing,the bottom-up exogenous attention mechanism of which can make the auditory cortex perceive time and frequency area where the abrupt signal is located.And the auditory saliency map based on selective attention mechanism has the ability of representing signal mutation characteristics.Thereby,to make the time and frequency area where the abrupt signal appears clear,introduction of the concept of auditory saliency map to vibration signal,combined with the characteristics of vibration signals,building auditory significant calculation model,to a certain extent,is benefit for fault detection and signal analysis.Based on the ear auditory characteristics,the auditory significant modeling method and its applied were studied in this paper,the main work accomplished are as follows:(1)Based on the single-ear model,single-ear auditory saliency calculation model is built on the basis of integration of multi-scale two-dimensional gaussian low-pass filtering and multi scale information,this model can recognize the time-frequency area where amplitude mutation occurs in single channel signal and can effectively characterize local fluctuations of abrupt signal,which can be applied to both audio signal and vibration signals of a gear,with better anti-noise-interference ability.(2)Along with auditory saliency model of single-ear,its application is expanded,evaluating the equipment noise according to the actual feeling people feel about sound.Defines the annoyance evaluation,use specific numerical man's troubles in the noise,and based on the contribution to the annoyance of EA model values,you can get the signal frequency structure,in frequency domain direction,auditory spectrum is studied based on the EA model,to the main frequency components affecting the disturbing degree for accurate positioning.And effectively applied to the actual equipment such as vacuum cleaner,sweeping robot noise evaluation.(3)Based on binaural model and auditory masking properties,a binaural auditory saliency calculation model is proposed,this model consists of three steps including peripheral auditory processing,time-frequency masking and signal merging,and auditory saliency map,simulating the characteristics of the ear's perception of target sound,and processing double channels signal,integration of double channels signal targeted at fault sensitivity is achieved,and which is effectively applied in the fault analysis of broken gear tooth.
