This thesis is aimed at the current situation of poor resolution and low detection sensitivity of harmonic radar,based on the simulation tool ambiguity function of radar signal waveform design and analysis,the OFDM code modulation technique for harmonic radar is studied.The main work of this thesis:According to the design index parameters of the OFDM modulation harmonic radar system,using the linear ambiguity function theory in the radar field,and the basic principles of harmonic radar,constructed a nonlinear transmission model,a nonlinear ambiguity function suitable for harmonic radar is given;By comparing the nonlinear ambiguity function of the OFDM signal waveform with the nonlinear ambiguity function three-dimensional ambiguity map of other common signal waveform,the advantages of harmonic radar based on OFDM signal in improving range resolution and detection sensitivity are analyzed.Based on the research of harmonic radar and ambiguity function theory,use Matlab to build a simulation platform,system framework design and simulation for harmonic radar based on OFDM signals,the effectiveness of the performance improvement of the harmonic radar system and the feasibility of its application are verified by simulation.
