With China's accession to the World Trade Organization,the price of private cars has gradually declined.And in recent years,with the rapid development of the social economy and highway construction,more and more people have their own vehicles.As a result,however,the frequent traffic accidents bring a great loss to the community and individuals.With the continuous development of science and technology,more and more midrange and high end vehicles use the intelligent auxiliary driving system to assist human driving.According to the standard of road construction in China,designs a lateral lane information acquisition system based on machine vision.Firstly,the scene information of the panoramic camera is used to calibrate the scene to get the trans-formation matrix of world coordinate system and image coordinate.The obtained image is transformed by inverse perspective mapping according to the transformation matrix.Then the image is pre-processed with white balance,gray scale and Gaussian smoothing.Then,the features of lane line are extracted according to the MSER maximum stable region algorithm,the color domain transformation is carried out and the yellow model is established to extract the characteristics of the yellow lane line.And then through the histogram projection method to calculate the deflection angle of vehicle and the lane line,to estimate the current lane of the vehicle and to judge the type of the lane line.These informations will provide information for subsequent vehicle control decision-making module,and lay the foundation for vehicle lane change and collision warning.Finally,the whole lane information acquisition system should be tested.The experimental results show that the system can deal with the vehicle lane quickly and can acquire the information of the side lane in real time without disturbing the other modules of the intelligent driving system.It can provide a reliable data of vehicle collision warning and follow-up quadratic planning path,so it can be applied to the the vehicles,which have opened the intelligent driving system,as an auxiliary information access module.
