The rapid development of computer graphics has promoted progress in related fields.As one of the details of human features,wrinkles in human face enrich the character's modality and strengthen facial features.Wrinkle model is widely used in animation and games.With the improvement of spiritual civilization,the pursuit of more realistic visual effects has become a common consensus.However,the traditional method of modeling using interactive graphical software often requires high professional requirements and a lot of time.It is of great significance to construct a real wrinkle model through digital modeling.The reconstructed wrinkles can be added as features to other models,enriching the details of other models,which can save a lot of manpower and material resources.The content and conclusion of this research are as follows:(1)Wrinkles' edge extractionIn order to solve the problem that the wrinkle region is not easily extracted in the face image,a region extraction method based on the wrinkle feature is studied.The method consists of three steps: firstly,most regions of human face are extracted based on the seed region growing algorithm with regional similarity;and then,based on the problem of indistinct wrinkle edge features,a morphological-based edge enhancement algorithm is used to enhance wrinkle edges and the gradient image is obtained by the through the third-order central moment;Finally,based on the adaptive minimum error segmentation algorithm,the optimal segmentation threshold of the face gradient image is determined,the binary image of the face gradient map is obtained,the wrinkle edge is extracted,and finally the wrinkle region is extracted.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can extract the wrinkle area of human face and has good effect.(2)Three-dimensional reconstruction of wrinklesFor the problem of high reconstruction cost and low reconstruction efficiency for traditional 3D reconstruction methods,an linear algorithm based on the shape from shading is studied to solve the problem of low efficiency and complicated process in the process of wrinkle reconstruction.Compared with the minimum algorithm based on the shape from shading,the linear algorithm reconstruction efficiency is 31.5% higher than the minimum algorithm,and the reconstructed wrinkle model is more realistic.(3)Wrinkle model features addedIn order to solve the complex and tedious process of wrinkle feature addition,this research proposes a wrinkle feature addition algorithm based on spatial projection and translation.Experimental results show that the algorithm can quickly and efficiently add wrinkle features.
