Symmetrical human body is the result of human body point cloud dataset symmetrization which obtained by three-dimensional human scanner.First of all,a stereo scanner was used to obtain the point data of the target human body.Second,a reverse engineering software,Geomagic studio,was used for the pretreatment of human body symmetrization.Transverse plane is treated as the cut plane to obtain human body transverse plane curve.Ellipse Fourier Fitting(EFT)is used to decrease the noise on the extracted transverse plane curve.Because EFT cannot be applied to fit jointed contours,convex hull is built to separate the jointed contours.Finally,each transverse plane contour extracted from human body is symmetrized and symmetrical human body model is reconstructed with Poisson reconstruction.This thesis mainly focuses on the following aspects:(1)The EFT error of human body transverse plane curve.When using three-dimensional human scanner to obtain the human body points data,the data contains much noise which leads to the contour extracted from the human body is not smooth.Elliptic Fourier is used to fit the contour and remove the noise points on the curve.The factors are analyzed that influence the fitting result which include sampling method,sampling distance and harmonic number.(2)Jointed human body transverse plane curve separation and interpolation.Because of the hair in the armpit and the crotch,when use transverse plane to cut the human body at the armpit and the crotch point,the curve extracted from the human body is jointed,Convex hull is built to separate the jointed contours on the same plane for symmetrization.(3)Human body transverse plane curve symmetrization.According to the geometry feature of human body transverse contour,human body can be divided into five parts which are arms,torso and legs.Each part is symmetrized with contour translation,resampling and rotation to rebuild the human body hierarchical model.Newton-Cotes integral formula is used to calculate the error of symmetrization.(4)Symmetric human feature parts identification,the calculation of the circumstance of feature parts transverse plane curve and symmetric human body surface Poisson reconstruction.After human points cloud data symmetrization,each layer circumstance can be calculated in the human body hierarchical model.According to the graph of human body transverse plane curve circumstance,human body chest circumstance,thigh circumference,hip circumstance,shank circumstance,abdomen circumstance can be identified.Finally,Poisson reconstruction is used to reconstruct the human body surface.
