With the rapid development of technology,many location technologies have been able to achieve precise positioning in the outdoor environment,such as a typical global positioning system(GPS).However,it is difficult for them to locate accurately indoors because of the complexity of indoor environment.With the continuous improvement of IEEE 802.11 protocol,WiFi technology has become the research focus of indoor positioning technology,because it has the advantages of fast transmission speed,high coverage,free use,low deployment cost and so on.On the basis of WiFi positioning technology,this paper makes a deep research on the compression technology of the location fingerprint database.In the establishment phase of the fingerprint database,the multiple direction mean square algorithm(MDSA)is used in this paper.This algorithm combines the different direction acquisition methods in the data acquisition phase with the Gaussian filter method in the data preprocessing stage.This algorithm improves the positioning accuracy by collecting and processing fingerprint data to some extent.In the analysis of the compression ability of the fingerprint database,the compression ability of the IDW interpolation method is obviously higher than the other three kinds of interpolation methods.When the number of interpolation points is increased from 20 to 107,the minimum positioning error is 1.0864 meters and the compression ability is as high as 85.6% when the number of interpolation points is 95.The positioning error is also only 2 meters at the maximum 107 point of compression.We design a system that enables it to collect fingerprint data in real time and automatically correct the fingerprint database based on analysis,so as to ensure the change of location performance and adaptive environment.The research can provide reference for the further research of fingerprint database compression algorithms based on WiFi positioning,it also provides practical support for automatic correction of fingerprint database technology in this paper.
