Synthetic aperture radar(SAR)can be used to detect ground targets. It has been widely used in military and civilian fields, and has become a research hotspot in signal processing and detection technology.Ground moving target indication(GMTI)is an important task in multichannel synthetic aperture radar(MSAR).In order to obtain better detection performance, clutter must be effectively suppressed. This thesis mainly studies robust principal component analysis(RPCA)technology, along track interferometry(ATI)technology, and space-time adaptive processing(STAP)technology, and further proposes several effective moving target detection algorithms. The specific research work is as follows:Firstly,it introduces the basic principle of SAR,establishes the echo model of stationary target and moving target, analyzes the principle of SAR imaging, and thoroughly analyzes the common errors and clutter effects of moving target detection. Then this thesis improves four kinds of moving target detection methods, two of them are based on the RPCA moving target detection algorithm;one is Deramp-STAP algorithm based on accurate estimation of target tangential velocity;the last one is DPCA algorithm based on sparse sampling. The STAP moving target detection algorithm based on ATI and RPCA mainly analyzes that in the case of unbalanced channels or carrier motion, the joint algorithm still have a good performance;the RPCA-based iterative algorithm has good robustness, and at the same time,it can bring the benefits of reduced computation. The STAP algorithm based on the accurate estimation of the target tangential velocity is to improve the performance of the traditional STAP algorithm by changing the traditional position of the transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna and accurately estimating the tangential velocity of the moving target;DPCA algorithm based on sparse sampling can greatly reduce the computation of traditional STAP algorithm under the condition of maintaining its detection performance, thus reducing the storage and transmission pressure of the multi-channel SAR system.
