With the development of computed tomography,especially the appearance and clinical application of magnetic resonance imaging,great progress has been made in medical diagnosis and treatment.Even so,as the most important and sophisticated organ of human body,the human understanding about their brain is still very limited,and therefore the brain surgery has high risk,high difficulty characteristics.It is the first step and the most difficult step to determine the craniotomy entrance and surgical path,which is related to the success or failure of the operation.Based on this,if the two-dimensional slice sequence can form a realistic three-dimensional model by appropriate 3D reconstruction algorithm,combined with the virtual reality technology which is developing rapidly in recent years,to display the complex structure of the human brain in the way of 3D and achieve the interactive operation of translation,scaling and rotation,doctors can directly observe surgical path and the relationship between critical brain structures and functional areas,and make appropriate well-directed operation paths before surgery,also can evaluate the effect of operation more intuitively after the operation.Based on the above analysis,we reconstruct the human brain based on magnetic resonance imaging,and build the virtual human brain and visualize the 3D based on the combination of Unity and z Space.The specific work commenced from the following aspects: firstly,domestic and international study about digital brains and the development of virtual reality technology especially the application in the field of medicine were reviewed,at the same time to clear the paper research significance.Secondly,the modeling principle and representative algorithm of surface rendering and volume rendering commonly used in human brain modeling were explained,and then combined with the application background of this article,a reasonable modeling scheme was selected.Thirdly,in view of the personal realization of MC algorithm and the algorithm itself might have problems,we increased the surface rendering based on ITK isosurface extraction scheme to reconstruct the brain model,and compared the effect of two kinds of modeling methods,determine the model of human brain.Finally,the Unity virtual reality platform was used to build the virtual human brain,and then combined with desktop class enhanced reality device z Space to achieve the ideal 3D visualization effect.
