Synthetic Aperture Ladar(SAL)is the combination of Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)technology and Laser Radar technology, with much more higher space resolution than SAR.SAL is an effective technique for the surveillance of targets both on the ground and in space.Due to the extremely short wavelength and nice coherence of laser, the resolution of radar has been promoted and the miniaturization and integration of the system is easier. The paper is based on the project “Research on the Wide Field of View Space Coherent Light Path”,the problems in the field of view of coherent detection of Synthetic Aperture Ladar is studied:1.The development and current situation of SAR and Ladar are summarized, including the significant project and achievement;the development of SAL at home and abroad are summarized;the key technologies of SAL are analyzed;2.The basic principle of SAL,including the ocular description, imaging model and algorithm are studied;the differences of SAL and SAR are compared;the principle of coherent detection, space phase requirement, and the relationship between signal to noise ratio and heterodyne efficiency are studied;3.The index of wide field of view is analyzed;the field of view achievement of Airy disc light path, focal plane light path, exit pupil light path, wide waist of local oscillator light path, array detector light path and array micro-lens light path are analyzed and compared;the array detector light path is qualified by the paper;4.The requirement of array detector light path is analyzed, the optical layout of alignment & emission of local oscillator, receiving of the signal and heterodyne light path are designed;5.At last, the whole content of the article and the shortcoming are summed up,and the following work in the future of the paper is planned.
