Research And Implementation Of A Replica Management Method For CSCloud Cloud Storage System

Cloud storage can achieve the storage and management of massive data and provide simple and reliable storage services for users,and is attracting more and more attention.Replica management technology is one of the key technologies used in cloud storage systems to improve the availability,reliability and scalability of the system.However,the introduction of replica management technology also brings about some problems of replica management,such as creation and dynamic adjustment of a replica.Therefore,it becomes an important research topic to study and verify the effectiveness of a replica management method in the cloud storage environment.Based on the research and analysis of the replica management methods of several typical cloud storage systems,this paper proposes a replica management method based on static placement and dynamic adjustment for our independently developed CSCloud cloud storage system.In this method,during the initial stage of replica generation,the metadata management server combines history information of file servers and users' information to implement an even distribution of user's file replicas on file servers according to the static replica node selection algorithm;during the replica adjustment stage,combined with the feedback information of the monitoring system,implements the dynamic adjustment of the file replicas according to the dynamic replica node selection algorithm,which improves the availability,reliability and load balance of the CSCloud cloud storage system.This paper also designs and implements multi-version storage and management of files to reduce the storage pressure of the file servers and improve the storage efficiency of the system.This paper implements and applies the proposed replica management method in the CSCloud cloud storage system,and tests various situations that may occur during actual operation such as simulating data upload by multiple users,overloading and invalidation of the file servers,and uploading of multi-version files.The results show that this method can effectively manage the replicas of user files in the system and improve the system performance.This method is not only applicable to the CSCloud cloud storage system,butalso provides a new idea and method to implement replica management in the cloud storage environment.
