The association and integrated expression of vector database construction and mapping is a goal pursued by the mapping field.However,due to the differences between vector data and mapping data,the integration process is difficult to realize.Obtaining vector data and mapping data by using one set of data through one production process needs realizing the association between them,the association rules can achieve this goal.The establishment and improvement of association rules has far-reaching significance for cartography.Based on the analysis of integrated production theory,we dug into the corresponding relationship between vector data and mapping data,and established the association rules of attribute parameters.By using MappingStar digital mapping system as experimental platform to produce topographic geological maps,the results verify that integritied association rules can greatly enhance the efficiency of production.The major work completed in this dissertation contains:(1)The importance of geological information is analysed,the demands for topographic geological maps and the difficulties in production are expounded.The research status of the integrated production technology and the association between vector data and mapping data at home and abroad are also summarized.(2)The basic theories of constructing vector database and mapping are analysed,the similarities and differences between the attributes used to establish the vector database and the attributes used to control symbol expression are compared,thus laying the foundation for the association between vector data and mapping data and the realization of the integration production model.(3)The association rules based on the attribute parameters between vector data and mapping data are established,they can control the shape and display of features,the effective associations are achieved in attribute inheritance,topology constraint and attribute parameter transformation between vector data and mapping data through the process association rule.(4)By using MappingStar for the first time,relying on the production demands of a region's geological comprehensive map and geological maps on a scale of 1:50 000,the association rules based on attribute parameters are applied into the production,the integrated production process and attribute tables of geological elements are designed,symbol libaray and commands were compiled,standard printing maps and vector data files are produced.The experimental results show that the integration association rules based on feature attribute parameters can convert from vector data to mapping data quickly and easily.The association rules can significantly improve production efficiency.
