Augmented reality is kind of technology that fuses virtual scenes with real scenes, and presents the fusion scene to the user, which is used to enhance the user's visual perception. In order to make the virtual-real fusion scene have the sense of reality, the illumination consistency is essential. In this paper,a multi-light source parameter estimation framework based on marker ball is proposed by analyzing and summarizing the illumination consistency algorithm of augmented reality.Firstly, the sphere is reconstructed by using the quadric projective transformation theory.Secondly, the positions of the multiple light sources are estimated by using the idea of inverse ray tracing based on the highlight point on the sphere. Then the image of the sphere is analyzed and processed, and the local illumination model is used to calculate the intensities of the multiple light sources. Finally, combining three-dimensional registration technology and multi-light source parameter estimation framework,a vision-based augmented reality system is realized. On the basis of theoretical research, the paper conducts detailed experiments and analysis on the multi-light source parameter estimation framework. The results showed that the position estimations of multiple light sources are accurate and the intensity detections of multiple light sources are effective. The vision-based augmented reality system has the seamless fusion characteristics of virtual reality,real-time interaction, correct rendering of shadows and illumination.
