The Evaluation Method Of Visual Recognition For Outdoor Signboards

Outdoor signs include traffic signs and large outdoor advertisements along the roads,and visually assess the rationality of its layout content.It can not only optimize the design content and reduce risk of capital investment,but also create a good traffic environment and reduce incidence of traffic accidents to some extent.The evaluation method of visual recognition for outdoor signboards is an assessment method that combines image recognition algorithm,analysis of driver's reading time and traffic characteristics.The method is to judge the overall visual adaptability of outdoor signs.First of all,pre-processing for collected outdoor signboard image to remove some interference information.Followed by the BINSORT sorting process,the extraction process of the image extremum region,the component tree and the maximum stability determination conditions in the image segmentation of outdoor signboard image.The extraction process of the characters of the signboards is based on heuristic rules to screen candidate regions of the image text.Secondly,in terms of analyzing the driver's reading time,according to the principle of the driver's traffic characteristics,relationship between outdoor signboard information,text height,location setting,vehicle speed,size,road rating,and visibility was studied.Determine the effective viewing time and the required viewing time calculation method.Combined with outdoor signs height of character recognition,the relationship between the speed and the font height in national standard to determine the minimum requirements of height and visual cognition time develop outdoor signs rationality assessment model.Finally,we choose the C/S network structure model to design the system software application platform to complete the evaluation of outdoor signboard rationality.The tester will input the relevant information in the client interface and automatically give the evaluation proposal of outdoor signage.The test results show that the system can analyze and process outdoor logo images.Accurately obtain the corresponding design parameters and evaluate them,and accuracy of outdoor signboard rationality assessment methods meet the testing requirements.
