As an important dynamic system, switched systems have been extensively used in industrial areas, such as transport systems, power systems.Recent years, increasing attention has been paid to the research for network switching control system. However, the use of network usually causes network-induced delays and data dropouts in the process of data transmission, which leads to the asynchronous switching of controllers. Therefore, how to model, analyze stability and design controller for a switched system with asynchronous switching is very important. This paper mainly considers the networked control problems for a class of switched system with asynchronous switching. The work consists of two parts: considering the asynchronous switching of controller and the complicated coupling relationship between the switching instants and sampling instants. The networked asynchronous switching control problem for continuous-time nonlinear switched systems is studied in the first part;the networked asynchronous switching control problem for discrete-time switched linear system is investigated in the second part when the switching instants are mismatched with sampling instants, which are as follows specifically:(1)This part introduces the research significance of switching system and networked switched system, and the research status is overviewed.(2)For continuous time switched linear system, the networked asynchronous switching control problem is studied considering the complicated coupling relationship between switching intervals and execution interval.Considering the networked delays and data dropouts simultaneously,a novel model of the networked switching control system is proposed. Then, the sufficient conditions of ensuring the stability of the closed-loop system and the design method of controller gains are also derived byusing a piecewise-Lyapunov function and average dwell technique.it's worth noting that the piecewise-Lyapunov function is allowed to be increased in the whole running time of every subsystem in this chapter.(3)For a class of discrete-time switched system, the networked asynchronous switching control problem is investigated when the switching instants are mismatched with the sampling instants.Considering asynchronous switching and stochastic network-induced delays,we model a discrete-time linear switched system as a multi-delays switching system by introducing a Bernoulli stochastic variable. The stability criteria of closed-loop system using average dwell time approaches and piecewise-Lyapunov function are given. Moreover, the design method of the networked asynchronous controllers is developed.
