In the 21st century,the innovative development of information technology and the rapid development of internet technology in particular.Although China is slower in entering the e-commerce market than Korea,but China is the fastest growing country in the world,and Korea is also maturing with its Internet penetration rate reaching 98%.As a result,many businesses and private operators in both countries are eager to generate profits through e-commerce.Against this backdrop,this paper compared the two leading ecommerce platforms in Korea and China and analyzed their strengths and weaknesses,opportunities and threatness.Through these efforts,companies seeking to enter the new e commerce market expect to adapt more quickly to the e commerce market,increase competitiveness,and play a positive role in national development.This paper is intended to compare the electronic commerce between China and Korea.This thesis is based on the Literature Study Act,the Comparative Analysis and the Case Analysis Act.Based on the literatures that have been studied,we compared Korea's G Market and China's Taobao through a SWOT and 4P analysis,and analyzed the platforms and operations of the two companies through Internet homepage comparison.Finally,comparing the two leading e-commerce platforms of both countries,the following results were obtained.The current performance of e-commerce has exceeded the size of existing shopping malls,which means that the current e-commerce growth trend has already reached maturity.Secondly,while Korea focuses on day-to-day delivery in the shipping sector,China has a wide territory,so there is a room where the logistics system is not yet complete.Therefore,China should work harder to improve its logistics system.Thirdly,Taobao gained customer trust through zhifubao service.But G-Market has not yet had a complete and simple payment method.Therefore,G-Market should work harder to secure reliable payment methods.
