Data visualization is a theory,method and technology to transform data into graphics or images on screen and interact with each other by means of computer graphics and image processing technology.The existing data visualization tools have such problems as scalability and ease of use.In view of these problems,based on the existing data visualization system framework,this paper studies and implements a scalable data visualization system,including data import module,visualization algorithm selection module,determination mapping relationship module,and visualization diagram display module,visualization chart interaction module,visualization chart storage module,to achieve a friendly interactive function.The main work of this article is as follows:(1)Design and implement a flexible data import method.Because the existing framework of this visualization system only supports data files of separators and the copy and paste of text from other applications,this paper implements the import method of data files in JSON format and the drag and drop of files,and improves the existing data import function module and improve the flexibility of data import in the system.(2)Research and implement visualization algorithms for hierarchical data,network data and time series data.It includes cluster algorithm and partition algorithm for hierarchical data,force directed graph algorithm and chord algorithm for network data,heat map,stack diagram and flow graph algorithm for time series data and so on.(3)Design and implement visualization algorithm importing tool----online editor.In the system,the online editor is built to display the function of the existing visual algorithm code in the server,and we can edit the visualization algorithm code according to the visual algorithm interface standard to expand the system.(4)Design and implement the interactive technology of visualization graphs.In view of the different visualization graphs,the following visual interactive techniques are realized,including the text prompt box,the local magnification for Icicle,and the brushing technology for parallel coordinates and so on,so as to realize the friendly interactive.Through the above work,the framework of the existing data visualization system is more perfect which is flexible in data and visualization algorithms import,simple in human-computer interaction and can be extended to meet the user's different needs,making the data visualization more simple and efficient.
