With the improvement of the level of economic development and living standards,the problem of aging in our country has become more and more serious.The health and safety of the elderly have attracted much attention.Owing to bodily functions or various physiological reasons,sudden disability has become the biggest threat to the health and safety of daily life of the elderly.Therefore,it is very important to detect and alarm the sudden disability of the elderly in time.Firstly,this paper analyzes the specific process and characteristic points of two kinds of sudden incidents,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of two kinds of detection algorithms based on threshold and based on pattern recognition,and combined with the research on the existing methods of sudden disability detection and analyzes,this paper designs a sudden disability detection algorithm based on multi-level judgment by fusion of multi-characteristic parameters.Then,combining the practicality,cost and consumption and other factors of the system,this paper designs a multi-sensor detection system based on multi point wear,which could detect physical activity of the elderly in real time.First of all,to get the sports data of the elderly through the detection points throughout the body which include acceleration sensor,angular velocity sensor and GPS sensor,input the data into the detection algorithm for sudden disability through bus or Wi-Fi communication,Once detects once sudden disability incident,then starts the alarm process.In order to reduce false positives and omissions,a manual alarm cancellation and manual alarm mechanism is set up.The alarm program sends the GPS positioning and alarm information to the guardian's mobile phone via SMS to realize real-time alarm.Experiments show that the recognition accuracy of the detection system is up to 95%,sensitivity and specificity up to 95.2% and 96%,indicating that the system accuracy and reliability are high.Moreover,with the further optimization of the detection algorithm and system hardware improvements,its effectiveness will be further increased.Therefore,the detection system designed and implemented in this paper can well detect the sudden disability of the elderly and has a high research value and practical significance in ensuring the health and safety of the elderly.
