With the increasing development of China's economy,the share of marine development and utilization in the national economy is on the rise.So far,sound waves are the only effective carrier for long-distance transmission in the ocean.Therefore,the development of underwater acoustic communication technology has become a key technology for the development of marine industry.Earlier underwater acoustic communications were mainly used in military communications.With the development and utilization of marine resources by the state,more and more civil needs are driving the rapid development of underwater acoustic technology.In recent years,the field of underwater acoustic communication has been a hot spot of research,and the physical layer underwater acoustic communication method has also made a relatively deep reserve.MIMO technology is one of the effective methods to improve the speed and quality of underwater acoustic communication.However,it is difficult for the existing underwater acoustic communication platform to support multi-channel expansion.Therefore,the paper focuses on the design and implementation of a multi-channel universal underwater acoustic communication hardware platform with high performance.The hardware platform mainly consists of digital processing boards and signal conditioning boards:Digital processing board uses TI's DSP TMS320C6678 processor as the core processor,using FPGA as a digital coprocessor;Signal conditioning board uses FPGA as the core control chip,after enlarged and filtered the signal will be collected by the ADC,and the digital data will be stored in the local FLASH.The two cards are 3U standard size and exchange data through the CPCI standard interface or the network interface.At the same time,the two boards can communicate with the universal CPCI host board through the CPCI interface.Based on the design and realization of the universal hardware platform,the basic OFDM underwater acoustic communication algorithm is achieved.OFDM transforms high-speed serial data into low-speed parallel data and reallocates it to each subcarrier for information transfer,taking full advantage of the spectrum.The system achieves the hardware simulation of the system through the measured channel,verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the system.
