In recent years,with the wide-spread popularity of wireless local area network and the rapid development of personal mobile terminal device,and the people's growth needs for the location-based services(LBS)in their daily work life,as well as the huge potential commercial value that location-based services could provide,positioning technology especially the out-door positioning technology has been promoted,such as the global positioning system(GPS)has closely related to the people's daily lives,the GPS was expected to provide precise location and navigation in order to support the needs of people in the complex environment.However,because satellite signals could not penetrate the defects of buildings in the indoor environment,the GPS could not be used or meet the application requirement.The solution of the indoor positioning technology that based on the wireless local area network(WLAN),infrared technology,RFID technology,the Bluetooth technology and geomagnetic has been developed rapidly over the years.Indoor position technology based on WLAN has been promoted within limits because of its advantages of easier acquisition of wireless signal information and low cost of hardware implementation.In this paper,we carried out the research on the key technology and positioning principle that based on WLAN indoor positioning technology and geomagnetic positioning technology,and analyzed the reasons that affected the positioning accuracy and preciseness as well as designd and implemented a indoor positioning system.A data processing was proposed in combination with WLAN and geomagnetic by applying the high accuracy of geomagnetic location technology to make up for the lack of precision in the wireless network positioning technology and applying WLAN locate by AP hotspot to make up for the disadvantage of the label in geomagnetic positioning technology in this paper.This paper focused on the conversion of coordinates,Kalman Filtering Algorithm and Gaussian Filtering Algorithm and DBSCAN cluster algorithm.It was concluded that the average positioning error of the data processing positioning system was 0.64 M and the location accuracy was 85% through the experimental test of the positioning system and analysis of the location results.The accuracy and accuracy rating of the combined positioning system was significantly improved by comparing with the WLAN and the geomagnetic indoor positioning system.
