Infrared warning tracking system is a passive detection system whose core device is the infrared detector.Different from the general active detector(such as radar),infrared warning tracking system owns many advantages,such as strong anti-electromagnetic interference,high resolution,low power consumption and well concealed.It is the main component of the modern defense integrated air defense system and the remote warning tracking system.The main object of the infrared warning tracking system is the long-range airplane and missile target in the background of air or air-land.Its main function is to carry out real-time air target detection and tracking of the infrared image sequence,and to calculate the deviation of moving target to the center of the field real timely.At present,the instantaneity and target recognition rate of the warning tracking system is very low,In view of the above problems,this paper starts from the angle of instantaneity to put forward a set of algorithm for aerial target alarm tracking system based on efficient hardware combination mechanism using FPGA + DSP;Analysised the traditional median filter on the issue of the FPGA hardware implementation that has high consumption,a median filter was studied with the design of the hardware optimization algorithm,the proposed algorithm can greatly reduce the consumption of hardware resources,and the speed is improved;As the actual detection environment generally includes complex ground background and aerial background,in order to evolve it into the background detection problem based on the air background,the background separation method based on row complexity is studied,which makes the background simpler.Based on the knowledge of target theory;after analyzing the gray features of the air target accurately,including the peak feature,the gray scale rate,the area feature,the motion characteristics and the displacement characteristics,the track correlation algorithm based on a number of criteria is studied.The algorithm is divided into full frame track correlation and local track association,which not only solves the problem that the target recognition rate is low,but also speed up the search probability of the target.The paper concludes with the joint simulation of the whole system in FPGA and DSP.The simulation results show that the system has excellent performance in target tracking,and can track the automatic tracking of air targets in real time.At the same time,the median filtering method of FPGA hardware optimization,the ground air background separation method based on line complexity parameter calculation and the accuracy of track correlation algorithm based on multi criteria are verified.
