Huangmei Opera is a local characteristic opera in Anqing,Anhui Province,and it is also one of the “five Chinese opera dramas”.In Anqing,the fan groups are a unique existence.Most of them have not received any professional training.They just gathered their interest in Huangmei Opera and formed a set of their own interaction and communication system.Based on the characteristics of the interaction and spread of Huangmei opera fans in the modern society,this article selects a representative local fandom group on the online and offline lines as field survey objects.Using basic questionnaires and in-depth interviews with specific questions,the author tried to explore the following questions by observing their daily activities: How did the Huangmei Opera fanatics come about? What kind of regularity does the interaction between the theater fans present? What are the similarities and differences between online and offline interaction? What is so special about fandom groups compared to other interested groups? What is the function and significance of fandom group communication?The first chapter of the thesis is firstly to describe the basic situation of the selected two cases,at the same time,to demonstrate its rationality and representativeness as the research object;the second chapter combs the relationship within the group from three aspects: the role of managers,the formulation of rules,and the formation of group culture;Chapter 3 discusses the factors affecting the fandom group's communication from the aspects of environment,living structure,age,gender,major activities and daily activities;Chapter 4 summarizes the daily interactive laws of the theatrical fans based on relevant theories of social interaction.In addition,it analyzes the function of subgroups and the process of generation and coordination of group conflicts.The fifth chapter summarizes the uniqueness of the Huangmei opera fancier group compared to other interest groups,and discusses the function and significance of the fandom group communication from two aspects: constructing identity and acquiring social capital.Through the study,the author believes that Anqing Huangmei opera fans have inherent environmental and resource advantages,and retirement has become a turning point in their active or not.In terms of age,the older the experience,the richer it will be,but at the same time there will be a problem of insufficient gas.Women dominate in gender.Fans demonstrate personality through major events to strengthen self-confidence,and deepen the Huangmei Opera's identity through daily activities.Although online and offline fancier interactions have differences in the timing and management of rules and roles,management structure,and the degree of self-expression of members,the overall activities are centered on Huangmei Opera.“Meeting Friends” is a common value.Although the conflict happens occasionally,the overall process is normative and orderly.The significance of the spread of the fandom group is far greater than negative.Individuals build self-identity and group identity in the process of participating in interaction,and use the resource integration capabilities of the group to acquire social capital.
