With the progress of the times, the economic and social development, and the improvement of people's material living standards, the Western consumerism culture enshrined its unique production methods, consumption patterns, and cultural concepts in China, impacting and infiltrating people's lives. In all aspects, our society began to transition from a "production-oriented society" to a "consumer-oriented society." As a result, the media has become more and more powerful in guiding the general public's consumption.By creating some surreal illusions,it creates individualized, symbolic media phenomena, and builds concepts of life and consumption such as taste, status, and fashion, stimulating the audience for the media. The consumption of the products provided by the media and the deepening of the audience's surreal dependence and indulging in media construction. This paper intends to use the theory of "media spectacle" of Douglas Kellner,an American scholar,to analyze the bizarre phenomenon of "The Wonderful Sisters".The "media spectacle" is the further improvement and development of Guy Debord's theory of "landscape society" under the contemporary social and cultural context. As an online variety show language program,"Let's Talk" exists in the current market environment and is a successful commercial product launched by the media. Its language features are outstanding. Therefore, this program is a representative example of the bizarre phenomenon of language in the context of consumerism, and it has not yet been combined with the previous example of the analysis of the "Let's Talk" and similar programming languages based on the theory of media spectacle. Therefore,it has certain innovations. For the linguistic classification of "Let's Talk",this article will use the general concept of TV language to classify the language of "Let's Talk" into screen language and audio language.Among them, the screen language includes the use of the color of the screen, the transformation of the scene, and the technical production of the screen in the later period. The sound language is mainly the sound language of the charactersand scene sound effects.Through the analysis,it is found that "Let's Talk" has formed a pile of "hyperreality" illusions in the language of the picture and constructed a "dramatized" scene; In the language of speech,a deduction of realistic conflicts, recreation of commercial products, and the extension of audiovisual space and other characterizations together constitute the linguistic spectacle of the "Let's Talk".Its language orientation is unbalanced and frequent, and its perceptual features are prominent. This weakens the ability of rational thinking. These are worth reflecting and summarizing.Based on this, the author proposes that the similar programs represented by "Let's Talk" should also pay attention to the social value of the topic while pursuing the value of consumption, stick to cultural awareness, and remain vigilant.
